Sizing depends on two things: the air volume you need (m³/min or CFM) and your working pressure (bar). Add up the air demand of all your tools and machines, then include a 20–30% margin for future expansion. SKY compressors range from 7.5 to 560 kW with airflows from 1.2 to 100 m³/min. Our team can help with sizing and a compressed air audit.
SKY compressors cover pressures from 13 to 1000 bar. Standard screw compressors suit general industrial use, while our High-Pressure Screw Air Compressors are built for demanding applications.

A Variable Speed Drive (VSD) compressor adjusts motor speed to match air demand instead of running at full speed and unloading. This avoids wasted energy during low-demand periods. SKY’s Intelligent PM VSD compressors use a Permanent Magnet motor and deliver up to 30% less energy use compared to conventional fixed-speed units.
If your air demand changes through the day, for example across shifts or as machines switch on and off, a VSD usually gives the biggest savings. If your demand is constant at full load, a fixed-speed compressor can be a good option. Contact us with your usage pattern and we will recommend the best fit.
